Your perspective is absolutely beautiful. As a Midwest farmgirl, I 100% agree with you on every point you make. I, also, grew up in an age that we just figured it out and parents didn't get involved. And it was BETTER that way. We found a way. There was no more bullying than there is today. It's just more toxic and scary nowadays. Thanks for writing all of this. It is spot on!
