You are not wrong. It is so hard to tell. I don’t think everyone says these things. However, I see what you are saying. The tricky thing is that narcissists don’t realize they are manipulating either. It’s just what they do. Their reality doesn’t coincide with everyone else’s. Breathe. Be patient with yourself. Open your mind and eyes to seeing all of the ways you can.
