Yes! My reality check was hearing all of the stories from friends and family AFTER he finally moved out, the way he talked about other women, and how he complained about me constantly...after telling me he would never do so. The girl who appeared on his doorstep right after he left me is 15 years younger than us, 9 inches shorter than me(which he always told me he loved my long legs) uneducated, a worker bee, an emancipated homeschool girl, and nonreligious and without marriage or children in her past...or present. She is literally the antithesis of me in every way.. All of the things he said he loved about me, she does not have at all. I understand now that all he really needs is attention. And she has nothing else to pay attention to, other than herself. The perfect narcissistic coupling.
