Yes, it is a mixed blessing indeed. Most of me is really happy that they see little bites of truth here and there. They are super lucky to have a great therapist who checks in with me about what I can do support them along the way. I will someday let go of the guilt I feel about marrying a man who had no real intention on fathering his own children. I really could not have known. But, they got the shaft, for sure.
