Yes, I will not stop until then. So many good books have helped thus far, and access to a trauma therapist. It still takes some magic, though, and that has yet to appear. Something about a degree of independence is part of the equation and I’ve yet to figure that out. Having to give up my home and hand all of the proceeds to the courts and my ex were so very disempowering. I’m not sure how to “get over” that. It’s so big, especially after decades of almost killing myself so he could get his education and spend time on his hobbies. I’ll get there.
