Yes...and...there are many other careers that we could say the very same thing about. To marry an academic was the very same for me. I was alone, second to everything, always wondering not WHERE I was on the list, but IF I was on the list at all. Funny...he just got comfortable in marriage. I made it too easy on him. He has found plenty of time and energy for his girlfriend. My lesson was learned the hard way. Good luck, girls. There are a million things that will take front seat if you allow it.
