Why not just apply this to dad’s? I am dating a man now who was a stay at home dad. His story is not so different from mine. This is just what happens in any relationship that is not equal and the power differentials rend the weak powerless. I hate and love men and women alike. But my pain has been caused more by the carelessness and selfishness of men. I allowed it. I had no idea what I was allowing. Please just read this in the voice that allows for your story to be heard, whatever that is.
