This is true, from my own experience. When that shift happens in us, it enlivens us in a way that is disarming and so much more than attractive.
But, as you said, its not about them. At all. It is for us. I have had to make a lot of really big decisions to be able to ground myself in my own body. I won't explain here, but the first of them took years to accomplish and there was no going back.
I just turned 47, with plenty of dimply skin on my thighs and not-so-pretty varicose veins, but I feel more attractive than I ever did for the decades I was married. Another story for another time. Thanks, Yael, you are always spot on and good for you!!
