Thanks. I totally agree. However, i see a real dichotomy. There are many who do not care at all about being the nice girl, in fact acting out against it. There are consequences both ways. You can end up like me…feeling shame about every biological urge, suppressing them, and living small. I’m not sure which is worse…being shut shamed or feeling like a naive Mary Poppins in middle age. Strange world we live in.
