Thanks for this. But, one thing…the people who have the disorder don’t often know it. They are perfec. They are Go. They are victim. It’s not them…it’s you.

Trying to see them as anything but evil also does not hel. We, as empaths…will always defer to a space where they will have the benefit of the doubt and we will then, again, suffer. It doesn’t change with time, or age or anything, for that matter. They don’t want help. They don’t get help. We get hel. We finally get away. And do the hard work of recovery alone.

There is nothing trivial about this process. If my ex would have gotten diagnosed and would have worked on himself…he would not be my ex. He also would likely not be a narcissist, seeing that one of the defining factors is that they are NEVER wrong.

Keep writing, please. I so appreciate your work!
