Sadly, yes. But I am so grateful at least I can have fun and interesting conversations with my kids...Most of their friends are not their age because of this "handicap" of having a real education, but I get it. I was the same. My skills are abused, I feel. They are worth so much more than I am ever paid. Even my mental health issues become a superpower at times....and i've paid a high price for those.
