Omg…if you didn’t hit the nail on the head. One reason I’ll never marry again, no matter how much the romantic little girl inside me would like to. My marriage was this. He literally told people we got divorced because he didn’t pick up his socks…lol!!! Maybe it had to do with the neglect and constant demeaning language around my needing too much and expecting too much, gaslighting, and mansplaining…maybe.
