Oh this! I was just reminiscing today as well. All of the things I had hoped to experience with my children and didn’t…all had depended on having a partner who knew how to be a partner. The one woman show, I know well and the resentment around it certainly did creep in. My ex was never really mine..or ours, really. He was only functional when it was about him.
