My god! Does every woman who tries to divorce a narcissist have this experience? And then yes, too, to the stories of childhood. I realized during my divorce how many ways my words and experience could be invalidated. And it was many, many ways. I had lived like that my whole life, as I expressed the honest truth about things. Until I quit talking. I’ve struggled to find my voice since the courtroom. But it’s coming. That was the most invalidating experience of my life. Inhumane, really. Thanks for writing!!
