May I ask a question? When did men actually check in? There has been no societal requirement for it. Thus, it has been avoided. We, women, are asking that you do that very thing and yet, you resist. You state that you have always been, which is not true. I don't know about you personally, but I know men well enough. And I love them. And I have a partner and 6 amazing brothers a great father and beautiful grandfathers. And yet...there are things and this is one that is pervasive. I challenge you to look honestly at the men in your life and see all of the work that goes into becoming a man...the way women have to work to get that to happen. I have raised a young man. And I know what it took. And I did it alone. He is an incredible man and works hard at his relationships. But he knows the truth about himself. Becuase we talked about it. And he had men as mentors and teachers and guides and coaches all along the way. Most men have no idea what the hell they are doing. And if you are honest, you know that. It's okay. Its just time to change some things unless we are all happy being single.
