Leah,I cannot imagine what you have been through. Looking back, I feel I could hold a lot of shame around what I “didn’t notice”. My body knew-because I was in chronic pain all of the time-but my brain didn’t put it together. It all is really heartbreaking, but I don’t think it is such an anomaly that most people don’t relate.
