Laura, I feel like these are my words….but written so well. Thank you. My ex was the same. He did break things and hit things near me. I just found out that he laid hands on my 18 year old. However, for over 25 years, it was like this…like you said. No planning all the way to taking out the trash. Dreadful. Neglect around our health is another piece. I once had to wait till he left town for a month to go to the hospital ER for some serious pain I had been having for a month.

Your words ring true. Let’s do teach our children better. I’m grateful mine have seen this truth. It’d given me a lot of hope for them.
