I think this is a well thought-out article. Thank you. One part I resonate is this:
"A strong woman isn’t born. She is created by the extraordinary challenges she has endured and the obstacles she has overcome in her life to land on her own two feet."
To be made strong in this way makes it extra easy NOT to be part of another relationship like this again. The lessons are learned. No longer will we stoop so low as to become a babysitter again.
I don't know how many men really do love strong women. I think it's just words. I have yet to know a man who can handle a woman who calls him out without feeling like a puppy who got kicked and needs to have his wounds licked.
Its true. They still need their mamas. My honesty, strength, intelligence and independence got me divorced. His rage was untenable. My strength came too late.
