I hear you. I just thought the book was worth writing about. I know…there is no universal. I personally have my own issues with males, but to over-generalize is not good either. She has things to say and I think they spurred some good thinking about some hard times for me…and I think they would for other people as well. I don’t want anything I don’t have, personally, but I am a white female of privilege. It’s different than being a man, but still, I know that I get better treatment than many.
You are right. There is no “all men are evil”. It’s not true. I have fabulous men in my line of heritage. Her book just made me look at some of the men in my life and how I did wrong by myself by enabling them…and I think many women have the same story.
