Because I married a CA boy at age 19 (he was almost 23), there was a sense within weeks that he had no capacity to settle down and work hard, without loads of victim stories and blame for me. I told myself the story that "he married the wrong woman" if he just wanted to play the rest of his life. I am a midwest farm girl. Play is AFTER the work. No matter, it was not until I finally got him out of my house before I really owned it and said, "I married the wrong man". I did..but I learned a lot and I am working towards having no regrets.
