I agree. However, I think, more than anything, is that we have a dearth of any kind of real life training. Most parents allow schools to raise their children, and are too tired to teach them about healthy relationships (because they don’t have them) and other skills (cooking, caring for children, mowing, sewing, trimming trees, cleaning, etc). I see this as a true epidemic in this country filled with people who are trained only to be individualists…not communalist. That, is the true problem. Totally with you!
