Funny you say that. I actually keep-on purpose-all of my most controversial books front and center on my bookshelf in order to see what their comments might be. I want to know how they will be with the "whole" me...not just the sweet, sensual, and accepting part. It's fun:)

But, no matter, this a great article. I find I am personally moving past calling things feminine and masculine and just looking at wholeness. It's impossible to identify traits with either one and remain there, as my parents were a lot like yours. My mom is more black and white and dependent on cultural norms for her own beliefs than my father. He doesn't care about a lot of things. Patriarchy, however, is present throughout all. Feminine...my dad's an artist. My mom was the academic one.

We really need to let go of it and just be us...be fully us, whatever that means. And only we can know. Thanks again, Yael!
