Yes to all of this. It was so incredibly lonely inside a marriage with a narcissist, but it is just as much so, knowing better that there are so few men out there actually ready to be responsible for their own emotions. It seems the only men who know how to keep their shit on their side of the fence are a generation ahead of me. And that...is not an option for a partner. Must we forever be patient...waiting..even for the good ones to show up well?
